THE EFFECTIVENESS OF DURUS AL-LUGHAH GONTORY APPLICATION AS INTERACTIVE MOBILE LEARNING IN TEACHING ARABIC

Abstract


The research aims to know the effectiveness of Durus Al-lughah Gontory Application as interactive mobile learning in teaching Arabic among non-native speakers in Madrasah Aliyah Negri (MAN) 1 Sragen. The goal of using Durus Al-lughah Gontory Application as interactive mobile learning in teaching Arabic is to help non-native speakers students in understanding the Arabic subject in the digital Era. The research method in this research uses a quantitative approach of true experimental type post-test-only control design. The sample consisted of 72 students (2 classes) chosen by a simple random sampling technique. Class X IPA 1 as the experimental class and class X IPA 2 as the control class. Data collection techniques are carried out by documentation, observation, questionnaire dan test. Data analysis techniques were carried out using statistical product and service solution (SPSS) technique version 16.00. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence and effectiveness of Durus Al-lughah Gontory application as interactive mobile learning in teaching Arabic among non-native speakers in Madrasah Aliyah Negri (MAN) 1 Sragen. It is proven by the minimum post-test results for the experiment class students are 60 with a maximum score of 100 and mean of 84.86, while the minimum post-test results for the control class students are 45 with a maximum score of 90 and mean of 72.8. And the result of the t-test with (Sig.2-tiled) 0.000<0.05 so that there is a fundamental difference in average on student learning outcomes.
